Sepad Khorassan was founded in 1987 by financial and intellectual support of ten thousands combatant and took its name from the beginning of “Sazandegi Pas Az Defae”, and its translation is “Construction after Defense”.
This company bought a land with an area of 600 Hectares located at the north west of Mashhad (Elahiyeh) and took action for exact study of Sustainable development and social partnership, and now 200 hectares of the land is known as Sepad Commercial and Tourism Zone.
Among the founders of the company are persons like General Noorali shooshtari (Martyr), General Mohsen Rafighdoost, Dr. Ghalibaf, Mr. Saberifar, Azarniva, and the Last Ebrahimzadeh who, with a foresight, made a chance for ten thousand combatants to share their small capital for developing and constructing the city.
The detailed and comprehensive plan of Sepad was approved by the commission of article 5 of Supreme Council of architecture and Urban Planning, Mashhad in 1996, and as per this approval the plan of “Sepad Commercial and Tourism Zone” was accepted.
